I started playing piano at a young age but my  passion was always for drums.  So when I was 7 years old I picked up drums and have loved playing it ever since. I was a shy child so drums was like a therapy for me and I was able to express myself and my emotions without words through music and percussion. I believe in music's incredible power to help people heal and be resilient.  

I volunteer as a music director at an Autism Center called Hand-in-Hand Family. Teaching the kids has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Through music I’ve been able to connect with them in a unique and meaningful way.  Each week I see their confidence grow as they learn new songs and rhythms.  Some kids who were shy at first are now more comfortable expressing themselves and it’s amazing to watch their excitement when they master a new skill. This experience has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a space where kids feel empowered to explore their creativity. Seeing their smiles and progress motivates me to keep showing up and giving my best.
